QUARTER 1 RIVER CLEAN UP

  • Rotary Club of Sandton 319 Bryanston Drive Sandton, GP, 2191 South Africa (map)

The Braamfontein Spruit river is a vital waterway in our community, providing essential ecological services and recreational opportunities. Unfortunately, it has suffered from pollution and neglect. Our monthly clean-ups aim to restore the river's natural beauty and health, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for future generations.

The Rotary Club of Sandton is therefore excited to announce our river clean-up events at the Braamfontein Spruit river which are scheduled to take place once a quarter.

These efforts are a testament to Rotary's commitment to environmental sustainability, one of Rotary International’s key areas of focus. By participating in these clean-ups, volunteers will not only contribute to the environmental well-being of our community but also join a global movement dedicated to protecting our planet.

We invite all community members, local organizations, and environmental enthusiasts to join us in making a tangible difference. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier environment for all.

For more information and to sign up as a volunteer, please visit our website or contact the Rotary Club of Sandton directly.

Let's come together to make a positive impact and uphold Rotary's dedication to environmental stewardship!
